Stumbled started as a song about my Daughter. I wrote the melody years ago when I just played around on the piano. I don’t write a lot of music on the Piano because I’m not that good at it. It was a rainy night and I remember noodling on the G chord on the piano and liking the melody. I love rainy nights, its a good time to work on music. I really like writing lyrics and poetry while its raining.
Well, the G chord on the piano moved along to a D and C chord. Its such a basic melody, its beautiful in its simplicity.
That how I started writing stumbled.
